Say hello to undeniably my most favorite piece of furniture in the apartment, the Larson Retro Armchair from Matt Blatt! I’m hopelessly in love, so much so that I’m giving a tiny sneak peek of the living room, before it’s even ready. Can NOT wait to share the whole reveal soon. For the chair, I had my heart set on the yellow, but it also comes in a blush pink (which was my next favorite option) and in a red and navy as well. ALSO, by the time you read this, Nabeel and my life would have been drastically altered in the sense that two of our closest friends ever, two people that a lot of you already know, Shehla and Faraz would have landed in Sydney, whattttttttt (!!!!). They’re coming for two whole weeks and I’ve been mad prepping to take these days off for their trip. Between crazy deadlines and cleaning the house (because you always clean your house a little extra for your favorite people), it’s been too, too exciting moving towards this Friday. I’m going to be off from the blog for the next two weeks and am putting up some of our party time on Instastories so please to join us there.

New tiny buddy. Part of one of my succulents broke off but it had such a pretty flower on it, I’ve potted it with hopes that it’ll grow into its own. Please remember us in your prayers.

So in love with my magazine rack. If anyone remembers this vintage magazine rack I bought secondhand off Facebook Marketplace a few days ago, here it is now relaxing in my living room with some magazines in it.

Put some of my new necklaces in this seashell dish, that I also bought secondhand from Salvos for just a couple of dollars. Love how it looks.

Some new goodies I got my hands on last weekend and am so excited to get into. In clockwise order starting from the top: The free lipcolor I got from MAC during their national lipstick weekend promo, MAC Peaches blush (my most favorite blush in the world), a vitamin C sample from Mecca (will never not get excited about a free sample) and a Dior foundation sample, yayayay.

New candle from one of our friends. Don’t think I’ll get over getting candles as a gift, casual FYI.

Small changes in the office: Am selling my longtime office chair so I’ve put that aside and using this one for now, until I get a new one (proceeds from old chair shall go into the funds for new chair). Also, Nabeel’s monitor has taken residence at my desk because we temporarily cleared out his desk from the guest room for our friends.
